Today’s Question: Have you ever added a quote to the quotation field in common knowledge? What’s a quote you particularly like from a book, one that you know by heart?

I haven’t added any quotes to common knowledge yet. But it’s still a relatively new feature, right? So I’ll probably add some sooner or later (I tend to add common knowledge in spurts; I don’t really do it consistently).

One of my favorite quotes actually comes from Jane Austen’s novel, Persuasion. The letter Captain Wentworth writes Anne is one of the most romantic things I’ve ever read. I may not be one for mass-market romances, but I love classic romance. That being said, my favorite quote comes from the letter: “You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope… I have loved none but you.” Original? Of course not. But it has stuck with me from the first time I read it.

What are some of your favorite quotes?
