Well, it’s a little bit late for a Sunday Salon post, but it’s still only just after 7 PST, so I think I’m okay. I had a bit of a slow reading week this past week, and that in turn translated to a slow blogging week. I think next week should be better, though.

Because I had a slow reading week, I’ve been savoring my current read: Canvey Island by James Runcie. I’ve got about sixty pages left, so hopefully I’ll be able to finish it in the next day or so. It been a really good book for me to read right now, but I think I’m going to have to follow it up with something light and fluffy. I hate to do that, because I have a lot of review books I need to get busy and just read and review, but I just haven’t been able to take care of that yet. I feel particularly bad because I have a few author-requested reviews I need to finish.

In spite of the fact that I didn’t do much reading this past week, I did spend quite a lot of time with my books on Friday. I spent the entire day going through them all and trying to achieve some form of organization. I mostly succeeded, but there are still more of them in storage in the garage than I would like. I just don’t have a whole lot of room for them in the house, so they have to live in the garage. I took some pictures of my reorganized books in my house, but the cord for my camera has gone missing, so I’ll have to share the pictures another time.

Hope you all have a great week!
