For those that missed the announcement on Monday, I am once again blogging at least semi-actively. There were a number of reasons that my blogging had fallen by the wayside, and I have worked past some of them, and decided that the others didn’t matter. So I am back, and as my own little “Welcome back” I posted my review of Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day on Wednesday.
This weekend finds me finishing up the moving process and spending a bit of time in Panem. I am extremely late to the Hunger Games party, but I figured that, with Mockingjay published a few weeks ago, it was probably time to see what’s got the book blogging world so excited (and yes, I am aware that the ending for Mockingjay was a bit divisive, though I have thankfully managed to avoid spoilers so far). I’ve tried listening to the audiobook of The Hunger Games before, but it wasn’t quite the fit I was looking for, so now I’m giving it a try with an actual book. I’m only a few chapters in, but I can see myself spending a good chunk of time today, and most of the day tomorrow, getting sucked in to the rest of the story.
I am also hoping to spend some time either today or tomorrow organizing my bookshelves. One of the worst things about moving has been the disorganization it brought my books. I’ve unpacked some, but not all, of my books, and they’ve been unpacked in a completely haphazard way. Almost nothing is where I want it to be. So at some point in the next few days, I will be shifting the books into something a little more organized.
In the meantime, though, it’s back to Panem! Have a great Sunday!
